Alison Kwok
Speech Therapist
Alison graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology (Honours). She is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and is a Speech and Language Therapy Singapore Association (SALTS) member. Alison has been a practising speech therapist since 2016.

Alison has worked with adults and children in various settings in the public and private healthcare sectors, including acute and community hospitals, early intervention centres and outpatient multidisciplinary clinics. Dedicated in improving clinical services for her clients and the community, Alison has contributed in hospital-wide training efforts and project initiatives at the national level, such as the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI). Alison is committed to furthering her skills to provide the best care possible for her clients. She also has experience in supervising new graduates and final year Speech Pathology students from the NUS Masters course.

Due to her prior experience in the early intervention setting, Alison has developed a strong clinical interest in early language development and managing speech sound disorders. Alison believes that a huge part of early intervention is empowering parents to support their children’s development. She provides parent coaching within her sessions and has run several workshops to equip families with strategies to further her client’s speech and language development. As a speech and language therapist, Alison strives to promote meaningful interactions by ensuring that her sessions are fun, effective and individualised to her clients’ abilities and needs.
