Therapy Assessments for Children

Seeking early intervention for developmental delays in children is the first step in helping them to manage, mediate, or overcome the obstacles they face. Our child development assessment helps parents in Singapore identify signs of possible delays and common conditions, following which our trained specialists can help to provide a diagnosis as well as a suggested roadmap for therapy services.

We provide assessments and child therapy services for:

  • Dyslexia

  • Development Coordination Disorder

  • Speech and Language Delays

  • Hearing Impairment

  • Motor Speech Disorder/ Apraxia of Speech

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Asperger’s Syndrome

  • Specific Language Impairment

The first step in seeking the appropriate therapy services for your child is to attend an Initial Assessment. Parents with questions about our therapy services can also attend a complimentary Parents’ Discussion or visit our FAQs.

Parents’ Discussion (Complimentary)

This complimentary parents’ discussion session is for parents who would like to find out more about our therapy services for developmental delays, the suitability of therapy services for their child, therapy session schedules, the profiles of our therapists and/or the cost structure of our services. Parents may opt for a face-to-face discussion at our Allied Care Centres in Singapore or a phone discussion.

Initial Assessment

The Initial Assessment, also known as first consultation, is a professional clinical assessment for your child. It is required for all children who come to MindChamps Allied Care for support in addressing developmental delays.

However, parents not currently with MindChamps Allied Care are also welcome to book the Initial Assessment if they suspect that their child requires support and wish to consult a professional. Please note that a fee will be charged for the Initial Assessment and both parent and child are required to be present.

The assessment lasts approximately 1 hour.
