Leung Mun Wah Ivy

Ivy is a well-liked and highly experienced Principal Occupational Therapist with more than 15 years of clinical experience specialising in childhood and adolescence. Having previously worked 10 years in a hospital setting, Ivy accumulated strong core knowledge and extensive bedside experience working with a wide range of client profiles. She pioneered and set up the child and adolescent clinic for OT services in Child Guidance Clinic (Buangkok Campus) as well as school-based OT services (REACH).

 

She was also responsible for bringing The Alert Program into local schools. After her hospital stint, Ivy served as a consultant therapist in different Special Schools and in the community setting advocating for inclusivity. Ivy believes that every child has the potential to blossom when provided with timely and goal directed interventions.

Her friendly deposition and child-directed approach makes her popular among children. Ivy is trained in motivational work and is creative in adapting activities tailored to each client by leveraging on strengths, improving areas of difficulties, and at the same time building self esteem. Clinical outcomes can be noticed quickly as Ivy believes in engaging in activities that work on multiple disciplines simultaneously.

Apart from work, Ivy enjoys spending time with her three young children and taking up projects that advocates mental wellness.
