Ong Xin Ling

Xin Ling began her journey working with children with learning difficulties when she was a teacher at a student care centre. There, she found joy in helping the children with additional needs learn essential skills that in turn helped them with their academic and personal growth.

 

With her passion to better support her students, Xin Ling embarked on the Post Graduate Diploma in Special Needs Education. During her studies, her experience with the children was enriched as she became better equipped with strategies and the knowledge to work with children with different learning and behavioural needs. As she found her calling, she made the decision to join MindChamps Allied Care and started out as a teacher aid and co-teacher in the Early Intervention Programme. She showed zest and her growth mindset as she observed, learned and embarked on trainings to establish a solid teaching foundation. Xin Ling has since become a passionate lead teacher who champions her Champs and actively conducts classes that cater to every Champ’s goals and needs, while supporting them in the different aspects of their development.

 

Xin Ling believes that by working with the child and other parties involved in the child’s learning, the child can reach their maximum potential.
