fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (Singapore) and Speech Pathology
Australia, and holds clinical supervisory status under the former.

Karen previously worked in the social service sector across a variety of settings, including early
intervention centres, mainstream preschools, clinics, clients’ homes and via teletherapy. She is
experienced in providing assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with speech,
language, fluency, learning and feeding difficulties. She is proficient in English and Mandarin, and
is able to conduct assessment, intervention and caregiver coaching in both languages.

As a speech therapist, she believes in providing child-led, evidence-based therapy that is tailored
to each child’s unique strengths, needs and circumstances. She prioritises the creation of safe and engaging learning spaces, recognising that children learn best through fun and meaningful
