Kendra's journey into the realm of special needs education began during her Psychology major at the University at Buffalo, where she discovered her passion for working with children. Inspired by the progress and milestones she witnessed, Kendra graduated Summa Cum Laude, armed with not only a degree but a purpose to make a meaningful impact.After university, Kendra advanced her career as a shadow teacher, an experience that deepened her understanding of the unique challenges faced by children with special needs and their educators. This role reinforced her commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Kendra believes strongly that "Students with special needs require more than just education from their teachers. They need support, warmth, and acceptance to reach their full potential." Driven by this philosophy, she strives to create a classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and understood. Kendra employs her creativity to develop innovative tools and strategies that not only aid the children in her care but also empower caregivers to support their child’s development effectively.
